Una parte de su legado se utiliz\u00f3 para fundar la Escuela de Periodismo en 1912 y establecer los Premios Pulitzer, que se otorgaron por primera vez en 1917.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>La Junta de Pulitzer de 19 miembros est\u00e1 compuesta por destacados periodistas o ejecutivos de noticias de medios de comunicaci\u00f3n de todo Estados Unidos, as\u00ed como cinco acad\u00e9micos o personas en las artes.
